National Mortgage Settlement Implications

Here is the video from the National Mortgage Settlement Seminar held by ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.  I participated on one of the panels at “part three.”

More interestingly, Joseph Smith (National Monitor)  was the keynote.  The other speakers were Mike Orr, Director of the Real Estate Center at the W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU, a panel from various state’s AGs, including  Katherine Porter (California National Settlement Monitor for the California Attorney General),  Tom Chenal (AZ Attorney General’s Office), JoAnn Gibbs from Nevada, and Karen Meyers from New Mexico.  Next was our panel, with Monique Branscobmb Wilhite, Director of the Homeowner Advocacy Unit of the Civil Justice Clinic at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, me, and Patricia Garcia Duarte, President and CEO of Neighborhood Services of Phoenix.  Finally, Reginald H. Givens, from the Arizona Dept. of Housing spoke.
